A Day of Canvassing in Pennsylvania with Lancaster Stands Up

Lancaster Stands Up is a 500-member grassroots organization in South Central Pennsylvania. They’ve been organizing around immigrant rights, health care, and gun violence – and now they’re going all out to replace Rep. Lloyd Smucker, a strong ally of Trump & the NRA, with local progressive activist Jess King. Water For Grassroots, a GOBK project that supports community organizing groups in the swing states, is organizing carpools from NYC to Lancaster on May 5 & again on June 2, to canvass voters with LSU and help give Rep. Smucker an early retirement.
