NY Health Act Lobby Day in Albany

HEAL NY is partnering with the Campaign for NY Health on the June 5th NY Health Act Lobby Day in Albany. Please join us in Albany for the annual statewide lobby day to advocate for the New York Health Act - the bill to guarantee healthcare to ALL New Yorkers (like Medicare-for-all for New York State!) The New York Health Act passed the Assembly in 2015, 2016, and 2017 with huge majority support. We need to pass it in the Assembly again this year and keep pushing the Senate to get this to the Governor’s desk to make health care equality a reality for New Yorkers.
The deadline to register for a seat on the bus is midnight tonight May 29th but if people miss the deadline & can provide their own transportation they are encouraged to register in order to be included in the meetings with legislators & join us: https://www.nyhcampaign.org/lobbyday2018

11:30am - Rally for the New York Health Act (West Capital Park)
1 - 3:30pm - Meetings with legislators on the New York Health Act and “Thank You Brigades”
4:00pm - Buses leave Albany
