Deadline for W4G Durham For All Phonebank

Since we have postponed the GOBK SC meeting until next week, I wanted to have this added to the GOBK calendar. Durham for All is a cross-class and multiracial progressive group looking to change the outcome of the 2020 election in NC by reaching out to 17,000 voters who didn’t vote in 2016. Durham for All goes into their agenda here: https://durhamforall.org/campaigns/swingthestate/. They are doing this via a modified version of ‘deep-canvassing’ phone banking instead of in-person. Instead of a specific candidate or issue, they are reaching out to voters to see how they can be persuaded to re-activate their registration. Every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday through the summer months they will be phone banking this group of disengaged voters in the Durham, NC area. I know some GOBK folks have done CTC before and this is similar, along with the opportunity to reach voters in a 2020 swing state which is appealing to many folks right now. The deadline to sign up is the Thursday evening prior (6/11, 6/18, 6/25). Sorry for the late notice this week but I’ll talk more about it at the SC meeting next week.
