Posting GOTV Flyers with Brooklyn Voters Alliance

September 1, 2018

VOTE 9-13 flyer English

Have you been trying to figure out how to get more involved this critical election season? Here is a great opportunity. Brooklyn Voters Alliance will be spending Saturday, September 1st papering commercial corridors in Brooklyn with flyers encouraging people to VOTE! There will be groups concentrating on different neighborhoods, asking local businesses to post the attached flyer. (Thank you Voter Outreach Working Group for the awesome flyer!) We have teams going to Sunset Park, Brownsville, Midwood, Williamsburg, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, and Bay Ridge.

Would you like to join one of these teams or start your own in another Brooklyn neighborhood? Email [email protected] to get started.

Are you interested in participating but can’t make it on the 1st?
Email us so we can connect you to others in the same situation and to help us keep track of which areas are getting covered.

Just want to print up a few flyers and put them up in your building or in the businesses you pass on your walk to the subway? That’s great! Everywhere we can get this information increases the chances a voter will see it. Let us know where you’ll be covering.

Looking for other ways to help?
**We need copies!** Can you run off some black and white copies of the flyer? Let us know and we’ll figure out a way to get them to the teams before the 1st.
**We need languages!** We’ve got the flyer translated into Spanish and Haitian Creole. But we could use more! Can you or anyone you know translate? Email [email protected].
Here’s the link to the Google drive folder with the flyers and the signup spreadsheet. You can print the flyers and go around your neighborhood or join one of the groups (or both). If you do decide to go out on your own, fill in the information in the spreadsheet so we know what blocks you hit and who said yes and who said no. This will help us avoid pestering places that have already refused, and also so let us know who we can go back to for the November general election.
