Brooklyn Voters Alliance's February General Meeting is Tues Feb 13th, 6:30PM, at the Brooklyn Central Library, 3rd floor Trustee's Room. We'll be joined by Black Lives Matter of Greater New York and Dominicanos USA, have a lobbying training, and talk about lots of ways to get involved in our work to reform NY's antiquated voting rules and get more NYers voting in 2018! Join BVA to celebrate our AMAZING WINS for voting reform in New York, and discuss the important work that remains. In January, our state government passed significant voting reforms including early voting, same day registration, no excuse absentee voting, pre-registration of 16 and 17 year olds, and registration portability.
